This section of the website provides information on establishment of the Interstate Compact on Adoption and Medical Assistance (ICAMA) and explains what an interstate compact is, why it is necessary, presents the articles of the Compact and identifies the states that are members of the Association of Administrators for the Interstate Compact on Adoption and Medical Assistance (AAICAMA) that governs the Compact.
